Be A Master, How To Ace Anything

Some say that to be an expert of something you need 10,000 hours, to be a master you need 10,000 hours plus lifetime of continuous practice. Yes maybe, maybe not. I haven’t tried that 10,000 hours doing something and list and take the time. “Oh it’s 10,000 hours”. No I don’t. But one thing I’m sure about.

It is To Not Give Up, don’t stop on doing and deliberately practicing that skill you want to learn. Never ever think that “men this is bullshit, should have quit a long time ago”. If you believe and know that the thing you want to learn and master is worth it, and you know its good. Don’t Stop, Never give up.

Be obsessed with it. Do it day and night. Feel it, take action, work it. Do it like your life and future depend on it. Be obsessed with it beseech it like the food you eat and the air you breath. Work it till your blood and sweat acknowledge to do it to the limits.

Focus, be bold, be brave, be determined. No distractions, build that unwavering focus like a samurai who cut falling leaves. Do it until all fiber of your being agreed to do it. To learn that skill, to ace and master that skill.

Indecisiveness is for the weak. If you’re so focus and determined on something, change of mind and heart had no place in it. Your confidence may break in the process but that is not a hindrance to mastery.

Don’t waste time. If you get the chance do it. Don’t waste you precious times on mundane chores and unnecessary task cause you’re bored. Don’t waste your time pretending to socialize on social media. Don’t waste your time drinking to forget and cover your shame. Don’t waste your time smoking and killing the fibers of your brain. Don’t waste your time watching TV and play games.

Don’t be a master of a different aim. Don’t be a master of time wasting, talent wasting and a master of empty confusion. Choose and make a decision. Master of waste or master of the best?

This will be my last advice. Practice, practice, practice. A true man doesn’t need to be reminded of this all the time. Just do it and practice. Its your choice on what are you going to master and how you will do it. The choice is yours to decide.

Always remember stay lean, stay clean, live life awesomely.

The Biggest Question

question mark

People aren't that different from each other after all. We people tend to have a common goal or desire, whether it is the pursuit for love, happiness, fame, respect, survival to live. We always go back to those things that our human nature crave for.

Most people want to have money, they want to look good, a lot of people want to fall in love with someone, people want to travel, and most people want to travel to see the world. Even if you don’t like some of what I have mention. I know most people will always be wanting it.

There are three things that people really want and need. It’s their “Health“, “Wealth“, and “Love“. But whats with that? There is only one distinction in all of that. That is the “Why” of life. Ask yourself the following question.

Why do you want money?
Why do you want a family?
Why do you want to get noticed?
Why do you work so hard?
Why do you go to the gym?
Why do you want abs?

The question goes on and on until you reach a certain point that you cannot answer any why question. That is the point where you can really reflect on something to yourself.

A lot of people want certain thing of what really they or you might think. For example. Everyone wants to be healthy and look good. Then you start to ask the why question. Why you want to be healthy and look good? It is because you like the way working out makes you feel. Is it because you want to live a long life have strong bones, muscles and immune system. Or you like to see yourself in the mirror, you like to take selfies for instagram. Is it you want men and women to notice or attract them with their physical attribute. Is it what society or other people tell and show you. Or are you are just insecure.

Another example is getting a lot of money. Why do people want to be rich? Is it they want to provide security for themselves. Is it they want other to acknowledge them, that they are better than the other person because they have money. Is it because if they have money they can get the girl of their dream? Maybe or maybe the girl is a gold digger. Is it because you have low self esteem you think money will make you less anxious and will fill that empty hole in your heart, the emptiness you feel ever since.

Yes its OK to want and desire for money, fame, good looks, woman and many other things. I personally want these things in my life. It doesn't mean that if you desire for such things you are insecure, you lack emotional independence or just wanting to fill that emptiness. No it’s not as long as it is you are honest with yourself. But most people failed to be honest or don’t want to be honest

Asking this question of why is important to dig and view the core of yourself. To identify what you really want and need. Asking this question over and over is like peeling the top layer of your unnecessary desires and need. Until you reach the point of who you are. To know yourself more deeper and to have a strong will of self control because you already know what you really want and what are the cause. Asking the why question on almost anything in your life will have a big impact in your life. For you to be a better person and the man you wanted to be.

Just remember, stay lean, stay clean, live life awesomely.

Avoiding And Not Using Social Media

avoiding social media

Yes, I’ll be honest here. I used to be an average social media user especially the blue “f” social media and its vanity cousin. I also tried that blue bird social media where everything one thinks that their tweets are the only one that matters and their opinions are always correct. Ha ha ha such bullshit.

When 2018 hit the calendar I stop and refuse to indulge myself in likes, hearts and reacts. I stop my addiction of dopamine shots called “likes” and validation. Now I never ever think of going back. I’m happy now in my life. Not caring about what other pretentious people think. Not straining my eyes and hand of that shiny rectangle thing they called “smartphone” that makes most people dumb in so many ways and levels.

People who are still trapped to those worlds are such a pity. They never even realized the truth.

My friends try to tell me to get back on track. Track of what? Mindless zombies?
Don’t make me laugh.

Social media saps away your focus and energy. It is like a giant gravitational dimension you step in a little bit, you get pulled through. When I was still using social media or when I was addicted to it. Many undesirable stuff happens.

-I sleep late, my sleep cycle is disturbed
-I loose and having a hard time focusing on something, cause my brain and body tells me to check my phone and shitty status.
-I get a little high of those likes and positive validation.
-I get easily irritable.
-I easily loose my cool. Especially if my status gets low likes and some douche-bag is contradicting my opinion.
-Many are don’t genuinely care on what in the world is happening, they are just their mindlessly sharing.
-I became a person that is not me.
-Some of my emotions started to fade.
-I became pathetic
-I lack the ability to handle things correctly.
-My creativity decline.
-My blog is on hiatus.
-I can’t construct a whole idea paragraph.
-I rope of patience gets shorten.
-I even started to develop the art of virtual stalking.
-And many more.

I just stop mentioning those ugly things there cause if I continue I feel shit about myself back then.

Good thing I realized the truth, behold the truth is bold, brave and just. Even if it cuts like sword. It strengthen and heals.

Some people, especially social media slaves don’t understand what I have decided and choose to myself. They think I’m dead cause I disappeared from their world. Some of them think I was avoiding them.

“No I was not avoiding.” They are the one that is avoiding reality. And I choose to live in the “now” reality.

They even come to the point that they use science and statistics to justify and validate that social media is a great thing like having a new Earth. The only people that will promote and support those social media to those extent and extreme are those mindless zombie slave addicts.

“When you have a smartphone you are not alone” thats what they say. But truth is lonely is exactly what you are. You – are – alone. It does not provide you company. The only conversation you get is a call or robotic interactive voice. They called it A.I. Artificial Intelligent which is even smarter than those zombie slaves.

“When God created man according to his image” that what is exactly happen to social media. They are created according to their creator. People tend to reflect their own on things they made or build.
Why do you think Elon Musk created Space X, because he wants to reach the boundaries of space. He wants to go to mars.

Now! Why do you think Zuckerberg build facebook? To interact with people without actually/personally interacting to one another. Seems like a character of a person who is lonely, self obsess and lives like a hermit. The good thing is they got a lot of money from people like them, lonely social media addict. But worst part, they are empty.

Why do you think Sean Rad invented Tinder? I think you already know the answer.

Being a social media addict will mold your future and decisions in a very bad way. You don’t even know it. Until such time you hit a wall, you feel so empty, you don’t know what to do about your life, you get depressed, you see all those you called friends on social media, posting their egotistical brags and shits. Then you consciously and subconsciously compare your shit to their shit. Then you try to compensate their shit with your greater shit. Its like a competition of fake false pride. But it doesn’t end there. It repeats, its a cycle. Once you reach a cycle you already caught and trapped.

The only way of breaking the cycle is to cut it, stop it. How? Develop absolute self-discipline. Stop using social media. There are many better things to do. You are more capable of what you can think. You are, we are capable of much greater things compared to those hearts and likes you get.

Always remember, stay lean, stay clean, live life awesomely.

Gluttony And Binge Eating

Gluttony and binge eating

You get sad - you eat, you get upset - you eat, you win - you eat, you celebrate - you eat, you're tired - you eat, you just ate - you eat. Over eating is another way of not treating yourself the respect and need it needed and deserve.

Most people call over-eating as a mental disease and some people even consider this as a moral sin. Called "Gluttony". One of the seven deadly sins. Gluttony according to Meriam Webster Dictionary is:

": the act of or habit of eating or drinking too much."
"1: excess in eating or drinking"
"2: greedy or excessive indulgence"

Which means it can be applied not only to food but to many things as well. Like money, fame, power, and validation.

Gluttony itself and its symptoms are a sign or a mark of a failure self-discipline. A lot of people are experiencing it but failed to acknowledge and recognize. They don't even bother to do something about it. They prefer to sob at their couch in front of glowing monitors like zombies while indulging their-self in gluten, GMO (Genetically Modified Organism ) foods, self anxiety, depressed potato chips while drinking beer.

How To Identify Gluttony
Many tend to reason that they eat a lot not because they can eat a lot but they want to eat a lot. Eating is not a crime. It's normal. It's enjoyable. The only question is "How much/many?" food I need, you need to eat in an instance or in a meal. Is it OK to eat 6 meals a day plus 3 snacks 2 side foods and 1 midnight snack?

The only problem of to much eating is people tend to complain that they are getting fat and do nothing about it. Worse, they go to the gym and eat a lot of ice cream after.

They just say. "Fuck! I'm getting huge, better hit the Gym" when they say "Gym" maybe they mean "Gobble Your McDonald's".

They lack the motivation to adjust and help their-self. They don't even read the basic ingredients of the food they eat. As long as it taste and look good, go dig in. They are animals in a livestock farm. They are the pigs and the food are the feeds. Digging in whatever food the farm throws at them. Then complain they are fat.

Especially here in the United States the number of obesity and binge eaters are increasing by the number. It is not just only one or two fat Joe but many more plus with fat Patricia.

The reason for this are:
Boredom
This is the number one reason. If you are bored you prefer to chill, eat and watch Netflix. While your hands grab those greasy french fries. You have nothing to do so you eat. You eat because you want to.

Emotional Failure
They are depressed, sad or lonely. So the frustration end up in binge eating, while binge watching, scrolling or stalking. Spending time on social media.

Reward Or Punishment
Using food as a reward if you feel good or do good and as a punishment for doing bad and being suck is a dumb way to treat yourself. It just prove that you lack self-discipline.

Comfort/Entertainment
Yeah. I know eating ice cream is comforting and entertaining. Using food as comfort, you always eat because you want to feel good and comfortable. After 2 weeks of comfort you gained 2 pounds. Then you get upset and frustrated. Subconsciously you get a little depressed cause the truth is you're getting fat. So you eat again. Emotional eating is just plain stupid.

Marketed Food Engineering
The food manufacturing industry makes a conscientious effort to get people hooked on foods that are inexpensive, but yet tasty. "They are the farmers of your wallet and you are the livestock." Some companies even do or tried to alter the content of their products especially sugar content to be more addicting.

The only acceptable reason on eating is because you are hungry that you need to eat to stay alive and survive. Recognizing that trash food doesn't change anything except for you getting full and fat. Is a good stepping stone for accepting and  making self discipline.

Food is not meant to make you feel guilty, worried, or restrict you in any way. It is there to nourish, support you, and make you feel your best. If you want to heal your relationship with food, begin by transforming the harmful thoughts that keep you from fully enjoying your eating experience.

Don't listen to media and magazines. Eat only the things you think is healthy and makes you feel truly good. Don't even dare reason that the trash food you buy at the convenient store is the one thats healthy and makes you feel good. When I say "feel good" it doesn't mean it taste better and gives your buds and brains a chemical boost. What I meant is it makes you tired less, it makes you kick off and do great things.

Defying Normality

adefying normality

What does Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein, Adolf Hitler, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Warren Buffet have in common? They are not your average people. Those people who are a top of the human race are not just commonly rich, but extraordinary. Either their intellect, determination, beliefs, money, success, dedication, or way of doing things is the pinnacle of their everything. Those men build an empire of their own. Why? Because they can. Because they do not follow what other people say. They don't limit their creativity, imagination, and intellect based on what people think they should be doing or on what point. These people defy the norms. They defy what standard does society gives.

Take for example Elon Musk. At first people don't believe him to make reusable rockets to fly on outer space and towards planet Mars. He don't give a f*ck. Now he had Space X. He wants to eliminate green house gases and made renewable energy. Now he had Tesla one of the worlds best electric car maker. Plus he founded Solar City. He had the idea of hyperloop, other people laugh and said thats impossible you should not be doing that. Now here we are reading news that the hyperloop is almost complete to materialize. He did not listen to other people. He do what he loves and needed to do. He set aside bullshit. He did not allow society to limit on how much he would think. Being a good listener is all right. But being able to listen to the people who are ignorant enough. You just seek advice on your downfall.

According to Wikipedia "Norms are regarded as collective representations of acceptable group conduct as well as individual perceptions of particular group conduct. ..." When you say social norms people automatically think the psychology of people and how they interact. But actually its the psychology and mental state of you. Right. You, yourself. Its not the rules set by society for you to abide. But rules you accept for yourself, to protect yourself. From prejudice, discrimination and the most common of all judgment. You accept and follow the rules because first of all you are afraid. Afraid to be judge, afraid to be labeled as deviant or worse criminal. Just for the sole reason that most people don't understand your actions or words. Because they are the same as everyone, afraid. Afraid of the weird, afraid of the bold, afraid of determination, afraid of the unknown.

For example. Tell a nation that guns are no longer legal, or abortions are banned. The uprising would be fierce and furious. Tell people that saying the "N" word is OK or tell them that saying the "C" word for Asian people are totally all right. See what happens. People feel very strongly about some things. Society is already divided on different issues, but changing the norm to favor one stance over another would result in wide-spread protest, criticism and perhaps even violence. Others may result even unto unmeasurable means. Because they are afraid that the rules they follow and live by will change. We all know people don't like change. Even if they do, it takes a lot of time and adjustment.

The most common social norm is what we called "blending in and caring what others think". Because humans always want to be part of a certain group that they want. They want validation of almost everyone. Even the means to be accepted to that group is compromising your principle and moral code. Thats right. That is the kind of people we are, well most of. Especially teenagers, they want to blend in but they want to be notice.

Emotional and mental immaturity equals lack of confidence. However when it comes to maximizing your success and potential, standing out is what it's all about. In order to come up with innovative, new, and life-changing ideas, you have to be willing to be different, bold, determined, brave and be yourself. Don't think of what others think about you. You, yourself know much more than those people. When it comes to your own self. You have to let go of what others think in order to get connected to your true self. People who made decisions based on what others thought and think had higher levels of alcohol and drug abuse and had lower self esteem than those who didn't base their decisions on what others think. If you are going to make a major change in your life those decision you made might have a great influence in your decision making that will lead you to the wrong decisions.

Another one is "doing what the other afraid average dude is doing". We like to copy and paste the sh*t. Why? Because It's easy to do what you see everyone else around are doing. In fact, how many times do you see people follow the footsteps of others because they don't know what else to do? They look for so much reference from others that they forget and somehow loose the will to find and make one for their-self. They became empty, and copying others is one of their ways to fill the hole of emptiness. Set yourself on a path that feels right and is not done in absence of knowing what else to do. If the person is doing great and fine. It doesn't mean that the things he does is also good and will work for you. And if it does you will only be the second. Never the first.

I don't care that they stole my idea . . I care that they don't have any of their own

-Nikola Tesla
There is considerable amount of pressure to conform to social roles. Social roles provide an example of social influence in general and conformity in particular. Most of us, most of the time, conform to the guidelines provided by the roles we perform. We conform to the expectations of others, we respond to their approval when we play our roles well, and to their disapproval when we play our roles badly. But how far will conformity go? Does it really matter? The freedom to do whatever we want is constrained by social norms and laws. Norms provide order in society. It is difficult to see how human society could operate without social norms.

Human beings need norms to guide and direct their behavior, to provide order and predictability in social relationships and to make sense of and understanding of each other’s actions. These are some of the reasons  why people are being afraid to be judge and treated as an outcast, most people, most of the time, conform to social norms. Our society operates on laws and social norms. They were created to reduce chaos, misunderstanding and to develop a uniformity of social etiquette and structure. Social norms build the modern world we live in. However, similar to being at the mercy of our caveman tendencies when we aren't in caveman days, we often make decisions based on what everyone around us wants us to do, rather than doing what is right for us.

Most social norms are helpful to us, as an individual and to a whole as society. Those norms build the basic foundation of respect and proper attitude. It made us humans to feel like people, it creates and  deepness towards the human bonds.

On the other hand there are social norms that are so toxic that a slight amount of conformity will lead you astray. These kind of social norms create gaps and holes within us, endorse boredom, depression, pressure and ill motives.

No matter what kind of social norm it is. Always walk and strive for the right path and what is morally correct to you. Defy the norms that will make your growth stunned. Be a deviant of toxic and unhealthy social norms. Don't be like those wuss and bastards. You are not like them. Always strive for the best. Don't listen to others peoples puny advice. Be bold, be brave, be determined. Work your way to the pinnacle of your very best. Like the sun, shining atop of all creatures.

Never-mind the baloneys, never-mind the haters, never-mind other peoples thoughts. Seek for results, work your ass out. People are always judgmental critics of plans and work but greedy of results. If you are tired and sick of societies normality and standards. Reject it, Ignore it or change it.

Always remember stay lean, stay clean, live life awesomely.

Every Mans Poem II

every mans poem

"Poetry pulls me in a tight embrace and soothes my hurricane of doubts. And when I find myself stuck in a hurricane, swirling around a pile of messy feelings, it dives right in accompanying me in destruction. "
"When reading or composing a strong poem the pleasure creeps up your back. Like the warm heat rising from the register in the cold morning when you were a child waking up. That is the feeling. "
"It deep dive into my consciousness of pride and honor. Like a soldier willing to overtake and tackle any mission to free his fellowmen."

The Soldier
 by Rupert Brooke

If I should die, think only this of me:
That there’s some corner of a foreign field
That is for ever England. There shall be
 In that rich earth a richer dust concealed;
A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware,
Gave, once, her flowers to love, her ways to roam;
A body of England’s, breathing English air,
Washed by the rivers, blest by suns of home.

And think, this heart, all evil shed away,
A pulse in the eternal mind, no less
Gives somewhere back the thoughts by England given;
Her sights and sounds; dreams happy as her day;
And laughter, learnt of friends; and gentleness,
In hearts at peace, under an English heaven.

The Builders
by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

All are architects of Fate,
Working in these walls of Time;
Some with massive deeds and great,
Some with ornaments of rhyme.

Nothing useless is, or low;
Each thing in its place is best;
And what seems but idle show
Strengthens and supports the rest.

For the structure that we raise,
Time is with materials filled;
Our to-days and yesterdays
Are the blocks with which we build.

Truly shape and fashion these;
Leave no yawning gaps between;
Think not, because no man sees,
Such things will remain unseen.

In the elder days of Art,
Builders wrought with greatest care
Each minute and unseen part;
For the Gods see everywhere.

Let us do our work as well,
Both the unseen and the seen;
Make the house, where Gods may dwell,
Beautiful, entire, and clean.

Else our lives are incomplete,
Standing in these walls of Time,
Broken stairways, where the feet
Stumble as they seek to climb.

Build to-day, then, strong and sure,
With a firm and ample base;
And ascending and secure
Shall to-morrow find its place.

Thus alone can we attain
To those turrets, where the eye
Sees the world as one vast plain,
And one boundless reach of sky.

Ulysses
by Alfred Lord Tennyson

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match’d with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
That hoard, and sleep, and feed, and know not me.
I cannot rest from travel: I will drink
Life to the lees: All times I have enjoy’d
Greatly, have suffer’d greatly, both with those
That loved me, and alone, on shore, and when
Thro’ scudding drifts the rainy Hyades
Vext the dim sea: I am become a name;
For always roaming with a hungry heart
Much have I seen and known; cities of men
And manners, climates, councils, governments,
Myself not least, but honour’d of them all;
And drunk delight of battle with my peers,
Far on the ringing plains of windy Troy.
I am a part of all that I have met;
Yet all experience is an arch wherethro’
Gleams that untravell’d world whose margin fades
For ever and forever when I move.
How dull it is to pause, to make an end,
To rust unburnish’d, not to shine in use!
As tho’ to breathe were life! Life piled on life
Were all too little, and of one to me
Little remains: but every hour is saved
From that eternal silence, something more,
A bringer of new things; and vile it were
For some three suns to store and hoard myself,
And this gray spirit yearning in desire
To follow knowledge like a sinking star,
Beyond the utmost bound of human thought.

This is my son, mine own Telemachus,
To whom I leave the sceptre and the isle,—
Well-loved of me, discerning to fulfil
This labour, by slow prudence to make mild
A rugged people, and thro’ soft degrees
Subdue them to the useful and the good.
Most blameless is he, centred in the sphere
Of common duties, decent not to fail
In offices of tenderness, and pay
Meet adoration to my household gods,
When I am gone. He works his work, I mine.

There lies the port; the vessel puffs her sail:
There gloom the dark, broad seas. My mariners,
Souls that have toil’d, and wrought, and thought with me—
That ever with a frolic welcome took
The thunder and the sunshine, and opposed
Free hearts, free foreheads—you and I are old;
Old age hath yet his honour and his toil;
Death closes all: but something ere the end,
Some work of noble note, may yet be done,
Not unbecoming men that strove with Gods.
The lights begin to twinkle from the rocks:
The long day wanes: the slow moon climbs: the deep
Moans round with many voices. Come, my friends,
‘T is not too late to seek a newer world.
Push off, and sitting well in order smite
The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds
To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths
Of all the western stars, until I die.
It may be that the gulfs will wash us down:
It may be we shall touch the Happy Isles,
And see the great Achilles, whom we knew.
Tho’ much is taken, much abides; and tho’
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
