Decluttering Life, Making Things Simple

sofa and lamp

"To remove unnecessary items from (an untidy or overcrowded place)". That what declutter means. Don't confuse it with organize. You organize things after you declutter it.

We are a society and generations submerge and drowning in unnecessary possessions. As a results our home, our, yard, our, room, our, pockets, our mind are filled with more and more useless stuff.

We humans have a nature of making temporary solutions to almost everything. Instead of de-owning unused stuff, we organized it. Rearrange it to fit and look presentable. Everything about organizing and rearranging is just bullshit, its all temporary fix.

You organize the stuff in your room, after six month you need to organize again. Why? You can't fix something permanently using temporary solutions.

"Organizing possessions is an action that must be repeated over and over and over again."

So whats the permanent solution? De-owned, declutter, let go of those useless things and unnecessary knick-knacks. Stop collecting garbage you're not a garbage dump site.

There are a lot of benefits that can be consider in decluttering and de-owning.

You can benefit a lot of spared space. Other people can benefit from de-owned items you have.

You can earn money out of it. Sell your unnecessary stuff, get some extra cash out of it.

You can resist the desire of purchasing more.

You can remove unnecessary, clingy and toxic memories that stick to those possessions.

You can accomplish more changes. Not just in your room and house, but also in your mind and thoughts. Having less things to mind can made your self at peace.

We can declutter our stuff, but not our lives.

Removing possessions begins to turn back our desire for more as we find freedom, happiness, and abundance in owning less.

And removing ourselves from the all-consuming desire to own more creates opportunity for significant life change to take place.

Always remember, stay lean, stay clean, live life awesomely.
